▍ ❝ RULE ONE. ❞
This account is primarily Non-Lewd. I know lewd is a thing that happens in the rp world, but that should be kept private between muns in my opinion. Call me old school. Unless it's been discussed prior with consent or earned, please be respectful of this.▍ ❝ RULE TWO. ❞
Please refrain from following or interacting with me if you are a minor. This account will have dark and mature themes and is not for the feint hearted. This includes some religious themes since the character is Catholic and has been an ordained minister. Look, I'll be straight up with this: It's been an ongoing issue since I started with Yahoo! Messenger about 20 years ago. Back then, there were custom chat rooms that were specifically Adult themed with passwords to grant access and minors still managed to sneak inside. It's one of the things that brought the end to the messenger rp era. Even MySpace had issues with it. I can't stress this enough. Please, don't interact or follow me if you are a minor. Just to save us both a headache.
▍ ❝ RULE THREE. ❞
Absolutely NO rubber chickens! I shouldn't have to iterate this one since it's pretty common knolwedge at this point. But, if you're not sure what I mean, it's god modding. Yes, it still happens. There are certain things that should be discussed out of character regarding what head cannons, secrets, and/or information that are known in character. As far as bouts go, no one is completely indestructible. Even Superman has his weaknesses. What good would he be if nothing could harm him? This rule also applies to forcing responses/reactions. I control of my muse, no one else. Don't dictate what happens to him for me.▍ ❝ RULE FOUR. ❞
Communication. This is a big pet peeve of mine. I grew up in a household where communication wasn't the greatest. If there is an issue, a problem, or a question, just drop me a dm and we can sort it out. It's not that hard. I'm not going to bite your head off over whatever the issue may be. Maybe I come across as intimidating, but it's not intentional by any means.

He's a skilled fighter, having been trained by Stick, and an intelligent strategist, capable of adapting to various situations and employing his heightened senses effectively. Matt's most positive attribute is his empathy and willingness to help those in need, especially those who are marginalized or disenfranchised.❝ - NEGATIVE ATTRIBUTES : ❞ Matt struggles with emotional instability, particularly his heightened senses and the trauma of his past. Some of his positive attributes can be a double-edged sword--his strong moral code, including his refusal to kill for instance, sometimes hinder his effectiveness in fighting crime, leading to a higher casualty rate that can be seen as preventable. Like Batman in DC Comics, Matt struggles with dual-identity, often times questioning if Daredevil or if Matt Murdock is his true identity. Matt can be incredibly stubborn and self-absorbed.
❝ Matthew Michael "Matt" Murdock ❞ never had it easy. Son of boxer Jonathan "Battling Jack" Murdock and Sister Maggie, a nun who served the Holy Cross Church in Hell's Kitchen, Jack raised Matt and his twin brother, Mike, alone after Maggie left abruptly, claiming to the boys their mother died. Maggie left the family after her depression and paranoia overwhelmed her, wanting to protect the boys and Jack from herself. Maggie joined the Holy Cross Church and became a nun, but never returned to the boy's lives. Jack did everything possible to provide a better life for Matt and Mike with what little he had, encouraging Matt to focus more on his studies and less on playing sports with kids. Jack hoped Matt would become a doctor or a lawyer and not an uneducated pug like he was. However, this impression made Matt a primary target with the neighborhood kids bullying "cowardly" Matt as "Daredevil", while Mike came to his aid. Frustrated and angry, Matt would used his dad's gym to let out his aggression, training in secrecy. When he saw a blind man walking towards an oncoming truck, Matt pushed the man out of the way and the truck crashed spilling a radioactive isotope on Matt's eyes blinding him as a result. While at the hospital, Matt discovered his four senses; hearing, taste, touch and smell were amplified to superhuman levels. Matt also developed what he called "Radar Sense", which forms a mental picture of his surroundings. It was at this time, Maggie visited Matt at the hospital, described as a Nun wearing a Gold Cross.Months later after being released from the hospital, Matt received training by a blind man who went by the name of Stick. Stick, a Ninja Master, taught Matt how to control his new abilities and hone his skills in acrobatics, self-defense and martial arts.Around the same time, Jack was desperate for a fight and reluctantly accepted a fight from a crooked promoter named the "Fixer". The Fixer booked Jack to be a heavyweight contender, wanting him to take a dive. Jack refused and won the fight, but was shot and killed by the Fixer and his men later that night.
Now an orphan, Matt searched for his father's murderers tracking Fixer's gang and punishing them severely. Matt chased and confronted the Fixer, who pulled a gun on Matt but died from cardiac arrest before he could pull the trigger. Matt tracked Angelo, the last remaining person responsible for his father's murder, to a brothel where he confronted Angelo. However, the women working at the brothel attacked Matt and Matt knocked one of the women out the window thinking he killed her (The woman would return later as Typhoid Mary). Panicked, Matt ran away looking for Stick, but Stick abandoned him due to his actions.Matt continued his studies and was accepted to Columbia University. At Columbia Law School, he met Franklin Percy Nelson, whom Matt nicknamed "Foggy" because his loud snoring reminded him of a Foghorn, and Elektra Natchios, whom he fell in love with. Elektra and Matt were first time lovers, but Elektra retreated from the world and from Matt when her father was accidentally killed by the police.Matt landed a job at a major law firm after earning his Law Degree and completing his Bar Exam. Returning to Hell's Kitchen, Matt met a young girl named Mickey who was staying at his father's old Gym. The two got close, and Matt trained Mickey. Around the same time, Matt bumped into his old college roommate and best friend Foggy, helping him with a few cases. Mickey was kidnapped by associates working for Wilson Fisk, better known as the "Kingpin". Matt tracked down Kingpin's associates and saved mickey, but at the cost of his job due to missing an appointment. In light of his release from the major law firm, Matt and Foggy opened their own law firm, Nelson & Murdock. Foggy hired a blonde woman named Karen Page as their secretary. Karen was attracted to Matt, feeling bad that a handsome, wonderful man had to live in world unable to see. During this time, Matt crafted his Yellow and Black Daredevil suit out of his fathers robes continuing to fight crime in the streets of Hell's Kitchen.

▍ ❝ I. The Man Without Fear ❞After Opening his law firm with Foggy Nelson, Matt took his fathers old robes and made his first Daredevil suit. While this wasn't as memorable of an event compared to the future encounters and challenges he faced, Matt made a name for himself in Hell's Kitchen cleaning the streets of crime handling some of the minor thugs, villains and lowlifes. Matt did face of Namor the Submariner, earning his respect due to Matt's sheer determination and Integrity.Around this time, Karen mentioned to Matt about Dr. Van Eyck's solution to restoring eyesight, which Matt refused. Klaus Kruger, the Duke of Lichtenbad and a client, verified that the blindness cure was real and Matt decided to go along sensing that Klaus was hiding something. Matt left a memo for Karen stating the surgery wasn't done. Foggy was jealous assuming Matt had chickened out at the last minute. Matt had considered telling Karen the truth about his double life, but backed down after Marauder's Gang attacked his law firm, fearing the secret could harm her one day. Eventually, he tells Karen the truth when the two grow closer. Eventually, their relationship breaks when Karen leaves for Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

▍ ❝ IV. Guardian Devil and the death of Karen Page ❞Matt was given a toxin leading him to believe whatever was suggested to him. Matt, believing that an infant was the Christ and Antichrist, would get aggressive to anyone that claimed the child was innocent. Foggy was fired from his law firm after being framed for murder, and Karen thought she contracted AIDS under the toxin's influence. Doctor Strange successfully flushed the toxin from Matt's system and proved that the child's prophecy was a hoax. However, Matt picked up something was off at the Holy Cross Church, finding his mother and Karen were attacked by his old adversary Bullseye. While he failed to save the infant, Karen was killed by Bullseye using Matt's Billy Club. Like Elektra, Karen died in Matt's arms marking the second time that Bullseye inflicted tragedy in Matt's life. Matt ultimately saved the infant from Mysterio, overcoming his traps and illusions citing he was unoriginal and pathetic, driving Beck to commit suicide.Following Karen's funeral, Matt was still visibly shaken, but a conversation with Spider-Man and Black Widow helped Matt see there was something positive that came from the events. Peter cited that Matt saved the infant, who was given up for adoption to a loving family and suggestively named Karen. Natasha, who worked along side Matt as his equal and his lover, admitted that he was the only man who ever touched her. It wasn't meant to hurt him but to help him, citing someone as good as he is shouldn't be alone and deserved to be loved, content and in his personal life. As the two embraced, Natasha jokingly threatens to shove Matt's nose up his brain if he cripples her again with Matt jokingly replying with "Yes, dear."In the end, Matt used the funding he got from Karen to buy some property to rebuild Nelson and Murdock's law firm after Foggy was released.

▍ ❝ II. Born Again ❞Karen's life went in a downward spiral selling Matt's secret identity in exchange for her heroin fix while in Mexico. The Kingpin acquires this information and uses his influence to destroy Matt. The IRS freezes Matt's accounts, his apartment is put up to foreclosure, his current girlfriend, Glorianna O'Breen, breaks up with Matt and dates Foggy out of rebound.Matt dodges prison time thanks to Foggy's efforts, but is barred from practicing law ever again. Furious, Kingpin destroys Matt's home leaving him homeless and paranoid. Kingpin placed a hit on anyone who knew about Matt's secret. Karen dodged Kingpin's assassins and returned to New York to find Matt.Ultimately, Kingpin's obsession to kill Matt led to his downfall when he had the super soldier Nuke released. Karen told Matt it was her that sold off Matt's secret identity for a fix. Matt forgave her and helped with her heroin withdrawal. Kingpin faced several lawsuits when Nuke massacred Hell's Kitchen to draw Daredevil out, dodging most of them. However, Kingpin's public image as an honest and respectable businessman is destroyed, leaving his associates and lieutenants losing confidence in him.

▍ ❝ V. Shadowland ❞What happens when you push a good man over the edge? How much does one man take before he snaps? It's a question that resonates with a lot of people, and something that Bullseye learned the hard way.During the events of Dark Reign, Norman Osborne gave Bullseye the task to eliminate Daredevil, who was recently uncovered to be the leader of The Hand. Like many times before, Daredevil and Bullseye clashed with Bullseye leading Daredevil to the site of a tenement building, where occupants were protesting against OsCorp interests trying to force them out. But in a strange twist, Bullseye rigged the tenement to detonate. Bullseye lured Daredevil to the rooftop of the building before the charges went off. Over a hundred innocent lives were taken from the blast trapped inside and Bullseye escaped leaving Daredevil to grieve. The next time Bullseye face Daredevil was during the events of Shadowland. Bullseye escapes from Ryker's Island and flew the plane he was on back to Hell's Kitchen. By this point, Daredevil became a corrupt leader of the Hand, and established his base at the heart of Hell's Kitchen. As expected, Bullseye killed a few of the Hand's guards calling Daredevil out, to which the man without fear answered. After wiping out the Hand's ninjas, Bullseye got what he asked for, but was more than he bargained for. Unlike the previous fights, Daredevil was very ruthless, aggressive and remorseless. In short, Bullseye got a brutal Daredevil, who broke both of Lester's arms and stabbed Lester through the chest with a sai, the same way Bullseye killed Elektra years prior which stunned Bullseye. After so many different occasions where tragedy struck home to Matt--Elektra, Karen, Foggy, the one hundred innocent bystanders slain from the tenement blast during Dark Reign, Daredevil put an end to Bullseye once and for all. The truth behind this recent development is the influence of a demon known as "The Beast". Matt was under The Beast's influence during this time, which may have played off of the number of people that lost their lives under his watch, including Karen and Elektra.Daredevil did attempt to dig up Bullseye's body to resurrect him as a servant of the hand, but Elektra stopped him.

▍ ❝ III. Last Hand ❞Elektra Natchios resurfaced and clashed with Daredevil on and off. The two of them reconnected, but Elektra was conflicted about using her skills for good after failing her contract in assassinating Alarich Wallenquist, and Matt saving Elektra from Eric Slaughter forcing Matt to reveal himself to her. The two worked side by side to fight the Hand, but was in conflict. Elektra would face the Hand with Matt and The Gladiator later on.During the events of Born Again, Elektra was hired to assassinate Foggy Nelson, Matt's Law partner and best friend, but couldn't bring herself to follow through with the job when Foggy recognized her as Matt's girlfriend from college. When Bullseye learned the identity of Daredevil, he broke out of prison and tracked down Elektra, hoping to get to him through her. The two fought, but Bullseye ultimately won stabbing Elektra with her own sais. Elektra stumbled to Matt's apartment calling his name, only to die in his arms on his front stoop. Sadly, this wouldn't be the first time that Bullseye inflicted tragedy in Matt's life.
